Dues

To help defray the cost of our activities and events, we've begun requesting dues from our members. While dues are not required for membership, dues are required to benefit from discounted prices to events and to vote in VCUYD elections. We understand that college students live on a tight budget, so we've kept the cost as low as possible. It may not sound like much, but many small contributions pooled together can make a big difference. Thanks for your support!

$15	annually

Volunteer

Of course one of the main goals of our group is to help Democrats get elected, and that takes hard work! For students with limited income or otherwise unable to pay dues, eight hours of your time is all it takes to fulfill your dues for the year. That can mean helping out at an event, or coming with us on one of our campaign invasions to help a candidate get elected. Talk to one of the members of the executive board or come to a meeting to find out how you can get started.

Individual / alumni levels

$35	Silver   Signifying JFK's presidency and the maximum age of membership in the Young Democrats, your $35 will help pass the torch to the next generation of leaders in the Democratic Party.
$75	Black   Dark and strong, you show an extra willingness to make sure that VCU's colors never fade.
$150	Gold   Make new friends and keep the old. Your outstanding contribution gives us the tools we need to succeed.

 
Corporate levels
(also available to individuals)

$250	Friend   Includes text link in "who we are" section of our Web site – at this level, you've become a part of us.
$500	Sponsor   Includes image link (approx. 100 pixels wide) in "who we are" section and special mention during at least one meeting each semester.
$1,000	Patron   Includes benefits of previous levels, plus a banner ad on the front page of our Web site. Your logo may also be included in our marketing materials.
